Soprano Alyona Rostovskaya is a member of the ensemble at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden since the 2023-2024 season, where she will appear as Contessa, Agathe and Alice Ford, among others.

After participating in the Salzburg Festival’s Young Singers Project, she was engaged at the Theater Heidelberg, where she debuted with great success in roles such as Rusalka, Governess (“The Turn of the Screw”) and Antonia (“Les contes d’Hoffmann”). Other roles at opera houses in German-speaking countries included Mimì, Cunning Little Vixen and Giulietta (“I Capuleti e i Montecchi”). After her studies at the Gnessin Academy she made her debuts in Moscow in roles such as Tatyana, Contessa, Pamina and Iolanta. In concert she has performed with Theodor Currentzis and the SWR Symphony Orchestra, among others.
