The soprano Alyona Rostovskaya has been a member of the ensemble at the Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden since the 2023-2024 season and has appeared there as Contessa, Agathe, Micaëla, Hanna Glawari and Alice Ford, among others. In the coming season, she will take on roles including Agathe, Micaëla and Kupava in ‘Snegurochka’ (Rimsky-Korsakov) in Wiesbaden. She will also make her debuts at the Oper Frankfurt as Micaëla and at the Theater Bonn as Agathe.
After being selected by Evamaria Wieser for the Salzburg Festival’s Young Singers Project, she was engaged at the Theater Heidelberg, where she made her debuts with great success in roles such as Rusalka, Governess (‘The Turn of the Screw’) and Antonia (‘Les contes d’Hoffmann’). In 2024, she made her debut the Komische Oper Berlin as Contessa. Other roles at opera houses in German-speaking countries include Mimì, Tatjana, Bystrouška and Giulietta (‘I Capuleti e i Montecchi’). In concert, she has performed with Teodor Currentzis and the SWR Sinfonieorchester, among others.
